Teach Yourself Secrets Scammers Don't Want You to Know

Out of years of research, I’ve been able to boil down the basics of scams and how you can make yourself scam free.

This is the first in a series of lessons on this area.

You probably have heard about all these scams: Nigerian Scams, Phishing, Network Marketing, MLM, Ponzi schemes, 419, internet business opportunities, etc. While we aren’t going to cover the specific tactics about each individual category, we will show you how you have been set up to be scammed by these people and what you can do about it.

What this semi-retired Boomer has uncovered is not all that earth-shattering, but these simple truths aren’t taught in any school or university – or even any bestseller texts on the subject. You can only find them out through the School of Hard Knocks.

It is actually very simple to make yourself scam free – but you are going to have to work at this. And your main hurdle to cross is the fact that all of your training and schooling and social contacts have set you up to be scammed all your life. So that can be substantial training you have to rework. Not impossible to fix, though.

Lets go over a few basics so we can later build on these.

A scam can be anything you don’t get the expected result from. Now technically (and scammers hide behind this) there has to be an intention to defraud someone for anything to legally be a scam. However, when someone is offering overpriced goods and setting up their customer service to mishandle complaints and simply stonewall, this is also a scam.

Now, there are also scammy customers who try to get something for nothing. In that case, it is the customer who is the scammer. This is a great source of those frivolous lawsuits: “Caution, Contents May Be Hot.” You can see that both sides have scammers, regardless of whether they are “operating within their legal rights” or not. And neither of these will actually think they are scamming. It’s the way they are wired. To any outside observer, it’s obvious.

The trick to determining what is or isn’t a scam is your own attitude. And theirs. And the whole method of getting yourself impervious to being scammed is about examining and handling those attitudes which can set you up to get scammed.

While this series of posts will cover various secrets, let’s cover one which is painfully obvious to everyone.

There are four things every living creature on this planet needs:

  1. Air
  2. Water
  3. Food
  4. Mental Stimulation

And of course, people can say that shelter and half a dozen other things should be on this list. But as far as basics, this is it. That fourth one? Animals in zoo’s can literally be bored to death, as well as humans in prisons.

While many scams are run on the first three, it’s the last one which brings all manner of trouble to us. But if you can figure out how to remain mentally active without buying into scams, then you’ll be a live a very simple life which is full of Happiness and Peace. You are going to learn how to get rid of the strife and problems which scams bring you.

What we’ll cover in our next lesson is how that Mental Stimulation you need is used by scammers to take every cent they can lay their hands on…

  2. How do you do all these great videos from YouTube? I think I need to check out your Online Sunshine Plan to see how you do these. Hope they are making you tons of money. All that you write here is very valuable, especially the anti-spam/anti-scam stuff. Thanks again.
